Hamilton homicide investigating death on John Street

Hamilton police are releasing few details after a man was found murdered in an apartment building in the city’s downtown Thursday morning.

The 55-year-old man was found dead in his fourth-floor apartment in a building on John Street South just before noon.

Police say an autopsy will be done Friday.

Police are also canvassing neighbours in the area, and asking anyone with information to contact them.
