Hamilton high school teachers reject deal
Updated Hamilton’s public high school teachers have rejected a tentative deal their union reps reached with the local school board.
The ratification vote was held today. Secondary school teachers in York and Niagara have already voted against ratifying their local agreements. Teachers will be in a legal strike position next Friday, and they say they’ll give parents prior warning. The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario has promised to give parents three days notice of any strike action.
