A Hamilton couple is upset after their garden was pillaged by a mystery woman.

On the morning of June 28, security footage from the apartment building located at 329 Upper Sherman appears to catch the thief in the act.

A blonde woman with a tattoo on her lower back is seen stealing multiple plants from the property and running away.

That garden belongs to 84 and 83 year old Chris and Paul Pielechaty, who have been active in beautifying their neighbourhood with gardening for decades.

A detective has seen the video, but no further information has been given about the investigation.
