Hamilton Fire battling 2 blazes

Hamilton firefighters are fighting two blazes this morning.

The first is at an apple barn on a farm on Concession 5 west, near Millgrove Side Road. Smoke could still be seen billowing out of the building. Investigators say it started on the roof.

The second fire is at an industrial building on Victoria Avenue North and ferrie street. It was apparently under renovation, and the fire appears to have started in some of the sub-flooring.

There’s no damage estimate for either blaze.
