Hamilton Farmers Market may be connected to City Hall theft
We have more information about where more than one million dollars siphoned from the City of Hamilton by a former employee may have been taken from.
The Hamilton Farmers’ market appears to be one of the facilities involved. CHCH has obtained a copy of a letter sent out to vendors at the Hamilton Farmers’ market. In it, the manager of the Farmers’ Market asks vendors to cooperate with police if they are contacted about their investigation into a former city employee who has committed theft.
The letter also states the Farmers’ Market will be cooperating fully with police.
