Hamilton East End Shooting

Police are saying very little about the shooting as the investigation is on going.

Reports say a man was shot in the chest and rushed to hospital and underwent surgery Sunday morning for his injuries

The intersection of Cameron Street North and Roxborough Avenue were blocked off as police collected witness statements from neighbours.

Police believe the attack was targeted and residents are not at risk.

Police are expected to release more information later this evening.
