Hamilton duo sought for attempted murder in Niagara Falls shooting

Police have released the images of two people wanted in connection with a shooting at a Niagara Falls inn earlier this week.

Nieko Bodine, 26, and Kathleen Bacon, 25, both of Hamilton are wanted for attempted murder.

Officers were called to the Howard Johnson Inn at 8100 Lundy’s Lane around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an out-of-region hospital and is now in stable condition.

Police say two suspects were seen leaving the area in a four-door sedan prior to officers’ arrival. Investigators released an image of the suspect vehicle which is described as being black or navy blue.

Police believe the shooting was targeted.

Bodine and Bacon are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Police say if you see them, call 911.

Bodine is described as being five-foot-nine, 150 lbs, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. Bacon is only described as having blonde hair.
