Hamilton doctor Angelo Zizzo passes away at St. Joe’s hospital
A well known and well-loved Hamilton doctor has died and the family is waiting to find out if his death is related to COVID-19.
Doctor Angelo Zizzo had offered his medical expertise in segments and interviews that spanned three decades here on CHCH.
Zizzo died yesterday at St. Joe’s hospital in Hamilton, a hospital where he was the President of Medical Staff twice.
The family believes his death was likely COVID-19 related but are awaiting the result of a test before it can be confirmed.
The family health team says they’ll take care of all his patients.
Dr. Zizzo began his hamilton medical practice in 1967.
He is survived by three children and seven grandchildren. He was 78.
