Hamilton crash clogs commute

(Updated) One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a head-on crash on North Service Rd, near Centennial Parkway in Hamilton.

It happened around 7 o’clock this morning at the intersection of North Service and the QEW Toronto-bound on and off ramps.

From the placement of the vehicles, it looked as though the pick-up truck was driving towards the QEW on North Service road, and the car was heading towards Grimsby. The car sustained significant damages in the crash.

The accident slowed down traffic for morning commuters, as North Service Rd heading to Grimsby was closed. It has since re-opened.
