Hamilton councillors trash biweekly pickup plan

(Updated) Starting in April 2013, Hamilton residents will be able to keep putting one bag per week out for pick-up.

Councillors threw out a city staff suggestion favouring a biweekly plan, and as Cristina Tenaglia reports, the new plan will be more costly to taxpayers and the environment.
