Hamilton council meets Monday over ice storm comp
Hamilton Mayor Bob Bratina has called a special city council meeting for Monday.
He wants council to consider asking the provincial government for more help with the ice storm cleanup, under the Ontario Disaster Relief Assistance Program.
Late last month Councillor Sam Merulla said he planned to introduce a similar motion, as he was concerned the significant costs brought on by the storm could send the city into a deficit.
