Hamilton casino survey

Most members of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce feel they have enough information to make a decision about a casino.

A survey taken by 1,600 chamber members has been released. 67% opposed a stand alone downtown casino, while 46% would support a casino if it included a hotel and entertainment facility. The main reason for wanting the casino was economic benefit. The survey was split when it came to where the casino should go. 50% liked the idea of putting it at Flamborough Downs.
