Hamilton Cancels Municipal Programs

Hamilton is canceling all city-run programs until at least April 5th but is not closing facilities. All special event applications are being reviewed “through the public health lens”.  The city says it will make a decision on them “shortly”

No new group bookings for private events at city facilities are being accepted.  The city is also recommending that groups with current bookings review their plans in light of the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile Burlington is closing its recreation facilities for three weeks to combat the virus.
