Hamilton boy dies after being struck by steel

A nine-year-old boy is dead after an incident in an east-end industrial facility.

Paramedics rushed to a building at 65 Imperial St. at around 1:30 this afternoon. They found the boy with severe head injuries and a broken leg.

He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
