Hamilton Beach house fire causes $30K worth of damage

A fire behind a home on Hamilton beach has caused an estimated $30,000 worth of damage.

The fire started Tuesday afternoon in a garage behind the house on Beach Boulevard.

The road was closed while firefighters arrived on scene.

Early reports suggest there were people cutting metal inside the garage.

It is believed the metal shavings started the fire.
