Hamilton asks residents to do their part to keep city open

The City of Hamilton says the actions of residents will decide if the city remains open under stage three guidelines.
It comes at the city reported 30 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, while dealing with seven outbreaks.
Radius on James St. S is the latest outbreak. Three staff members there have tested positive for the virus.
The restaurant closed on Tuesday and plans to reopen on Oct. 21.
They are encouraging people who visited on Oct. 9 or Oct. 10 to contact public health if they have questions.
The restaurant says its first case has been linked to the SpinCo Hamilton outbreak.
That outbreak is now at 47 cases among patrons and staff and 25 secondary cases.
As of Thursday, Hamilton had 196 active cases of COVID-19. A month ago, there were 42 active cases.
Hamilton hospitals are reporting five patients with COVID-19.
