Hamilton Aboriginal Day

Hamiltonians are celebrating National Aboriginal Day across the city.

The branches of native development hosted a fun filled day in Gage Park. Vendors sold traditional crafts and artwork and performers gathered for a women’s hand drum performance. The festivities continue through the weekend with a pow-wow on Saturday and Sunday. At city hall the holiday was honoured with a song and dance demonstration.
