Halton Police still looking for witnesses in missing Burlington man case

Halton Police are looking for witnesses after a truck, belonging to a missing Burlington man, was found.

Yanis Ozollapa’s truck was found in a parking lot on Friday.

Police say it was dropped off behind a Lighting Centre store on Cross avenue, across the street from the Oakville Go station.

Police say surveillance video shows a man running from from there on October 1st around 5:30 a.m.

It also shows three separate vehicles, a motorcycle, a pickup and a taxi driving by around the same time. P

Police are looking to speak with those drivers.

Ozollapa went missing on September 30th.

He left his work on Weeping Willow Drive in Oakville, around 2 p.m. and hasn’t been seen since.

He’s described as 6’0, 170 lbs, with grey eyes and is bald with a goatee.

He speaks with a heavy Latvian accent.
