Halton police seek driver following elderly hit-and-run in Halton Hills

Halton police are looking for the driver of a dark coloured SUV after an elderly pedestrian was hit Tuesday afternoon in Halton Hills.

Officers say an elderly pedestrian was hit at around 5:40 p.m. at Mountainview road and Campbell Gate.

Police say the pedestrian was rushed to Georgetown Hospital where they are listed in stable condition.

Investigators say the vehicle involved failed to remain and was last seen driving south on Mountainview Road.

Anyone with information or video of the incident, or operating Tesla motor vehicles who were in the area around that time are asked to contact police.
