Halton police seek assistance in identifying man in connection with thefts from cars and frauds

Halton police are looking to identify a man in relation to a series of thefts from cars and frauds in Oakville.

Police say on April 4, the man broke into several parked vehicles at the Oakville Go Station located at 214 Cross Avenue. During these entries, he stole wallets, sunglasses, clothing and other items.

A short time after, he used stolen credit cards he stole from vehicles at several stories in the surrounding area.

The man is described as white, 30-40-years-old, with short brown hair, mustache/goatee and with a scar over his right eyebrow. Police say he was wearing tortoise shell glasses, a black jacket and with the words “Kal Tire True Service” on the chest, dark pants and black shoes. He was also carrying a duffle bag.
