Halton police search for two bank robbery suspects

Halton police are looking for two men in their early twenties following a bank robbery Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to reports of a robbery at the Scotiabank branch on Guelph St. in Georgetown.
They say two men entered the bank shortly after 1 p.m. and demanded cash.
The pair managed to take an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank on foot.
Heavy police presence in area of Guelph Street and Sinclair Avenue in Georgetown for an active investigation.
Please avoid the area until further notice.

Investigators say no one was injured and no weapons were seen during the robbery.
Both men were wearing blue latex gloves and are described by police as black and in their early twenties. The first suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a red bandana over his face. The second suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark coloured pants and was carrying a bag.
