Halton police search for suspicious man

Halton police are investigating reports of a suspicious man driving around in an east Oakville neighbourhood.

He’s a white man between 20 to 30 years old, driving a small SUV.

Several women say they were approached by the man in his car, while walking in the Devon Road and Maple Grove Drive area.

He reportedly tried talking with them and made a sexual gesture towards one woman.

Police are stepping up patrols in the area and are talking with school board officials to make sure the area is safe.
