Halton police are hoping to reunite a massive lot of property with its rightful owners after two people were arrested in a series of break and enters.

Joseph Allen, 49, and Carol Brown, 69, have been charged with 14 counts each of break and enter.

Police say Brown and Allen were arrested after two search warrants were executed at homes in Hamilton.

Investigators seized a large quantity of property that is believed to have been stolen during break and enters between Oct. 2018 and Nov. 2019 in Burlington.

Police say one of the thieves became known as the “Under Armour Bandit” because of a unique shoe impression that was left at multiple crime scenes.

If you were the victim of a residential break in in Burlington during that time frame, police are asking you to review the photographs of the stolen property.

Anyone who believes they are the rightful owner of the property or who may have information that could help the investigation is asked to contact Det. Cst. Matt Spina at 905-825-4747, ext. 2338.
