Halton Police investigating the discovery of a man’s body as a homicide

Halton Regional Police say a man’s body has been found in the area of Guelph Line and No. 10 Sideroad in Milton.
A post mortem will be conducted but police believe the death to be a result of a homicide.
Officers were called to the area around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning. They say there is no threat to public safety at the time.
Police are asking people to avoid the area as there will be a heavy police presence.
Media Relations Officer is attending the scene and will be available to provide an update in approx. 90 minutes.
Update will take place in the parking lot for Mohawk Casino (located just south of the intersection).

Anyone with dashcam or home surveillance video of the area of Guelph Line north of the 401 to No. 10 sideroad in Milton, between the hours of 8 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m Tuesday are asked to contact police at 905-825-4776.
