Halton police investigating death of Milton toddler

Halton police are investigating the death of a 2-year old boy in Milton early Wednesday afternoon, after he was left in a family member’s car for a “significant portion of the day”. Police say both parents were at work at the time, and the vehicle was driven by an extended family member.

Police are investigating how the situation happened. So far no charges have been laid.

Police are withholding the name of the child out of respect for the family. No further details have been released.
