Halton police investigate two-vehicle crash in Burlington

Halton police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Burlington that sent one person to hospital.

It happened at the intersection of Mainway and Appleby Line shortly before 7 a.m. Monday.

Officers are responding to a reported single vehicle collision in the area of Mainway and Appleby Line.

Police were initially called to a single-vehicle collision but later said in a post on Twitter that two vehicles were involved.

An image from the scene shows a car on its roof with extensive damage to the passenger’s side of the vehicle.

Police say a driver suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to hospital.

No charges have been laid and police say, at this point, there is nothing to suggest any criminal charges will be laid.
