Halton police investigate two sexual assaults in Milton

Halton police are investigating two sexual assaults in Milton.

Police say they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man responsible for two sexual assaults that occurred on the Union Gas Trail, located between Beaty Trail and Trudeau Drive.

On Saturday Aug. 13, at around 7:30 a.m., a victim was walking a dog on the trail when she was approached by the suspect. The suspect attempted to have a conversation with the victim, then grabbed her hand and tried to kiss it.

On Monday, Aug. 15, at around 7:05 a.m., a victim was walking a dog on the trail when she was approached by the suspect. The suspect attempted to have a conversation, then grabbed her hand and kiss it and then further grabbed her by the face and kissed her on both cheeks.

The suspect is described as male, South Asian, 50-60 years old, short grey or white hair, around 170 cm tall, average to thin build, wearing a grey t-shirt on August 13 and a blue t-shirt on Aug. 15.
