Halton police investigate suspicious death of 40-year-old in Oakville

Halton police are investigating a suspicious death in Oakville after a man’s body was found Saturday afternoon.

Officers say they were alerted to a found dead man in a building in the area of Lakeshore Road East and Navy Street at around 5:30 p.m.

Police have not made any arrests and do not have any suspect descriptions to provide but they say that the man was 40 years old.

Investigators reopened Lakeshore Road East between Navy and Thomas Streets Sunday morning after closing the area for the investigation.

Anyone with video of the road between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. or information is asked to contact police.
