Halton Police investigate armed home invasion in Burlington

Halton Regional Police are searching for two men after an armed robbery at a home in Burlington on Wednesday.
Police say the pair entered a house on Bonnieview Ave.home through an unlocked back door around 10:30 p.m.
According to police, one of the men was armed with a handgun and an aerosol can, believed to be either bear spray or pepper spray.
He confronted the two elderly homeowners and demanded their bank cards and pin numbers.
The couple was then forced into the bathroom.
The thieves stole several electronic items and a purse before running away.
The homeowners got out of the washroom and called police.
The first suspect is described a white, 6’2” with a medium build. He was wearing a black ski mask, black jeans and black shoes.
The second suspect is white, 5’9” and clean shaven. He was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and a trapper hat with fur ear flaps.
