Halton police investigate after body discovered in Milton

Halton police are investigating after a body was discovered in Milton.

Police say a deceased male was located in the area of Lower Base Line West, just east of Sixth Line around 10:25 a.m. Thursday.

In a tweet posted a short time later, police said there was no ongoing risk to public safety at this time.

A deceased male has been located in the area of Lower Base Line W, east of 6th Line in Milton. Investigation is ongoing. No ongoing risk to public safety at this time. Lower Base Line W is closed from 6th Line to Trafalgar Rd for investigation.
