Halton Police identify man found in Lake Ontario last weekend

Halton Regional Police have identified the man whose body was found floating in Lake Ontario last weekend.

The man has been identified as 45-year-old Matthew Kevin Brown of Burlington.

A post-mortem examination has determined the cause of death to be drowning.

Police say the incident is not believed to be criminal but the investigation continues.

Investigators want to speak to anyone who may have information on Brown’s whereabouts in the days leading up to the drowning.
