Halton police charge Quebec man in GTA sex trafficking case

Halton police have charged a Quebec man with multiple offences following a sex trafficking investigation.
Officers opened the case in December when a woman reported that she was being trafficked in the Greater Toronto Area.
Detectives say they discovered that a man financially benefited from coercing, controlling and exploiting the woman in the sex trade over four months.
Huddy Conserve, 36, was arrested Saturday and charged with seven offences, including assault and trafficking in persons.
Conserve has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
Investigators believe there may be more human trafficking victims. Conserve often uses the aliases of H Mafia and Christopher Deltor.
Anyone with further information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Det. Scott Heyerman at 905-825-4747 ext. 4973.
