Halton police charge 65-year-old man with sexual assault

Halton police have charged a 65-year-old man in connection with the sexual assault of a female youth and investigators believe there may be more victims.

Police say the incident happened on Oct. 2 when a young girl went to the Silver Sword Archery in Oakville, Ont. with a group for an axe throwing lesson.

During the class, officers say the instructor touched the victim in a sexual manner multiple times without consent.

Halton police arrested and charged Robert Lapier of Oakville on Oct. 3 with sexual assault and sexual interference.
