Halton nurse charged

A Registered Practical Nurse in Halton has been charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

Halton police allege the incident happened in February at a long term care facility in Oakville.

Police say an authorized medical procedure was done that resulted in, as police put it, “bodily harm beyond that which was to be expected”.

There’s no word on the age or condition of the patient.

37 year old Diana Dranchi will be in court in Milton next month.
