Haldimand robbery solved

Police have now charged a 30-year-old Haldimand County man with robbery, after a local restaurant was broken into last month.

Philip Rhora will appear in court at a later date to face his robbery with violence charges.

The thief had tried to steal money from the cash registers at a Hagersville restaurant back in November.

The business owner suffered non-life threatening injuries when he confronted the thief.
