Haiden Suarez Noa found guilty of second degree murder

Breaking:

A jury has found Haiden Suarez Noa guilty of second degree murder in the death of his then girlfriend Tania Cowell.

Tania Cowell was 36 years old when she was killed; stabbed 11 times by Suarez Noa while their five month old son lay nearby.

Tears erupted in the court room as the jury read the sentence.

Crown attorney Janet Booey says she is relieved and thanked the jury for all their hard work.
