Gun seized in home invasion

The weapon was used by three masked men who fled.
The intruders forced their way into a house at 583 York Boulevard in Hamilton just before midnight.
One person inside the house was assaulted and suffered minor injuries.
After the three men fled, police arrived and recovered a hand gun.
Investigators believe the house was specifically targeted but they are not saying what the motive might be.
Police have released suspect descriptions.

The first is described as black, about 6-feet tall, 200 to 220 lbs and wore light blue jean shorts, a red bandana on his face and was armed with a metal bar and knife.

The second suspect is described as white, in his mid-20’s with a shaved head or really short, blonde hair, blue eyes, about 5′ 11” and 180 lbs.
He was wearing a black tear away track suit with two white stripes and armed with a gun.
He made off with a safe.

The third suspect is Hispanic, late 20’s, about 6′ 2” with a shaved head; either black or brown hair, large build with a big stomach, a round face with high cheek bones.
He wore a baby blue shirt, jeans and dirty white shoes.
