Guilty verdict in Figliola case

The Hamilton woman accused of hiring a hitman to kill her husband has been found guilty.

It took the jury three-and-a-half days to decide Maria Figliola, 57, arranged for the brutal killing of her husband Frank Figliola in August 2001.

The woman’s husband was found beaten to death on a path where he used to take frequent walks near the couple’s home in Stoney Creek.
