Guest: explosion could have been avoided

The blast that killed five Canadian tourists in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, over the weekend was a tragedy that should never have happened.

That claim, being made by a former guest of the resort, who told CHCH News Wednesday that the problem with sewer gas at the Grand Riviera Princess Resort was evident more than a year ago. Scot Urquhart has the story.
