Guelph police are searching for a man after four separate reports were made of a naked man approaching women in a west-end park.

The first incident happened last Thursday at Margaret Greene Park on Westwood Rd. around 12:45 p.m.

Police say a man was seen near the baseball diamonds wearing what appeared to be women’s underwear. They say the man took off the underwear while walking towards a female and small child.

The next day, a resident called police to report a nude male approached her and tried to engage in conversation while at the park. The female left the area and the man was last seen walking towards the baseball diamonds.

On Sunday afternoon, another caller reported a nude male in the park. Police say the man put his shorts back on and was last seen walking along Westwood Rd. and then turning to walk north on Rhonda Rd.

The latest incident happened on Monday morning when a woman was walking her dog on a trail that leads to the baseball diamonds when she saw a nude male who was carrying a pair of shorts.

“The male began walking towards the female but when she took out her phone he put on his shorts and walked away,” said Guelph police in a news release.

Police say officers responded to the scene of each incident and checked the area but did not locate the man.

Officers believe he is Asian, in his 30s, five-foot-seven to five-foot-10 with short, dark hair and a heavy build.
