Group of males wanted after shooting in Oakville underground parking lot

Halton police are searching for a group of males after a shooting Thursday morning in an underground parking garage.

Officers say an undetermined amount of males approached the victim around 4 a.m. in the area of Bishops Gate and Pilgrims Way in Oakville.

Police say the suspects attempted to get into the vehicle before the victim was able to drive away.

Several gunshots were fired towards the vehicle as the victim drove out of the underground parking lot. Police say the victim was not injured during the shooting.

Investigators say the suspects fled the area in awaiting vehicles.

The male suspects were wearing dark clothing and masks.

Anyone who was in the area around 4 a.m. and witnessed the shooting or has dash-cam or CCTV footage is asked to contact investigators at 905 825 4777 ext. 2216.
