Hamilton Police are conducting a ground search at Paramount Park today.

Police were out searching the park after human remains were found on the Bruce Trail in Stoney Creek last week. The remains are believed to be that of an adult male, according to the regional supervising coroner.

Hikers found the decomposed remains on a steep and densely wooded slope near the trail.

The identity of the individual has not yet been confirmed.
