The gas plant scandal was front and centre at Queen’s Park and the Liberals were on the hot seat again.

NDP leader Andrea Horwath asked: “At committee the OPP indicated that some of those folks have declined to do so, does the premier think they should talk to police? ”

PC finance critic Vic Fedeli fired off a shot of his own. “Premier those steady hands of your have left a lot of fingerprints on the gas plants scandal.”

NDP house leader Gilles Bisson: “Did the premier ever discuss with her minister of government services that investigation?”

To which government services minister John Milloy responded: “I was given no information of any work that was being undertaken by the ministry of government services.”

This follows the provincial government’s top IT official saying he was directed by the cabinet office to give special computer administrative rights to a top aide to former premier Dalton McGuinty. Also, that former chief of staff David Livingston wanted the computer hard drives “wiped” before Kathleen Wynne took over as premier.
