Gretzky statues vandalized

Someone has defaced the new statues of Wayne Gretzky outside of the newly renovated sports centre which bears his name.

The tribute to “The Great One” was just unveiled on Sunday. But police say it was spray painted sometime between 11:30 Monday night, and 7 o’clock Tuesday morning. The statues show the hockey legend holding up the Stanley Cup and Gretzky as a youth. Police don’t have any suspects yet, and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
