Gravelle parole suspended

The head of one of Hamilton’s most notorious crime families has had his parole suspended.

Andre Gravelle is currently at the centre of an RCMP investigation. The 48 year old was arrested last Thursday by the RCMP and at the request of his parole officer. Gravelle’s lawyer calls the parole suspension “a mystery,” and says no one has provided him with any information.

No criminal charge has yet been laid.

Gravelle is serving a three-year, 10-month sentence for conspiracy to import hash oil for trafficking.
