Graffiti artists descend on St. Kitts

Graffiti artists from across the province were in St. Catharines today for the 12th annual Loop Paint Smart Graffiti Jam.

About 30 different artists were working all day to cover 10,000 square feet of wall space on Garden Park Boulevard. Business owners donated their back walls in the alley for the event.

John Fulton, who helped organize the urban art festival, says that many artists have been working on their sketches for months.

Today’s urban art festival also raised money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of St. Catharines-Thorold.
