Gore Park getting update

Work at Gore Park in downtown Hamilton is getting underway.

Hamilton Public Works is starting to turn the south leg of King Street East, between James and Hughson Streets into a pedestrian only space.

Large planter boxes will block traffic from the area.

The move is part of the “Gore Master Plan” which started in 2008 and has had a lot of community involvement in re-designing the city’s core.
