Good Shepherd hosting annual free Thanksgiving dinner Monday

Hamilton’s Good Shepherd is hosting its annual Thanksgiving dinner Monday afternoon free of charge.
The organization offers free Thanksgiving meals for hundreds of people in Hamilton who are struggling to put food on their tables.
This year’s dinner will run from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Centre located at 135 Mary St. Take-out meals will be provided to guests at the side door of the dining room.

“Guests are treated to a Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. The mouth-watering turkey dinner includes rich gravy, fluffy mashed potatoes, a perfect vegetable medley and a delicious dessert of pumpkin or apple pie. Guests will also receive a chocolate bar, and a bottle of spring water.”
The meal is free and available to all in the community.
