Golfers told to beware the hogweed hazard

Giant hogweed has been found on a golf course near Hamilton.

It’s a plant that can cause severe skin damage and in some cases blindness.

Although it’s from Asia, it’s being spotted more and more in the GTA through to Niagara. And Monday afternoon came word it was also found at Scenic Woods Golf Course in Glanbrook.
