GO train hits pedestrian

GO Transit is reporting that a pedestrian has been struck and killed by a train in Oakville.

The GO Transit website states that the westbound 11:48am train from Union Station, due to arrive in Aldershot at 12:48, was terminated at the fourth line in Oakville due to a “pedestrian fatality”.

Their website goes on to say that the 12:43 train westbound from Union will terminate at Oakville.

Also, the 13:04 train eastbound from Aldershot to Union will begin at Oakville.
